Kalimpong
Kalimpong is a small Himalayan hill district whose economy rests on floriculture (thousands of orchid and garden plants from town nurseries), agro-horticulture (apples in the Lava valley and around Fikkalay Gaon, and GI-tagged Dalle Khursani chilli), and six estate teas grown entirely in the Gorubathan block. Tourists also buy from the town's Rishi Road and 10th Mile markets: teak wood carvings, thangka paintings, Tibetan woollens, handicrafts and raw honey harvested from the Neora Valley forests.
